Praesidia moderator covers offer protection whilst helping reduce the effect of visual disturbances caused by mirage from heat build-up in a moderator. They are made of several layers of heat resistant insulation materials including Kevlar and Nomex and an outer fabric of 1000D/500D nylon (Cordura) depending on colour.
